MX5 City Sponsored Driver Jon Greensmith Just Misses Out on Championship!
This past weekend at Silverstone Circuit marked the MX-5 Championship & Super-cup's final 3 rounds, being a finale it did not disappoint! Saturday's races ended with Jon Greensmith finishing 2nd, a spot which he has held for most of the season with some terrific and consistent driving. Kevin Brent finished in 16th place and Andrew Adams finishing 30th in MX-5 Championship.The front runner of Go4itracing was out of action with injury, although he still managed to get 21st place in the final standings with 9 rounds less than everyone else. Well done Martin!

Sunday took a turn for the worse for when in race 2 when Jon leading the pack,a fellow driver had another idea for him forcing him to spin out and take another 3 cars out on the way! The car was damaged and Jon a little bruised as a result!
Luckily lots of helping hands were up to the task and it made it to race 3, not making much impact but it was a miracle that it made it. There were even some little helping hands to get the job done, when Jon's children also came to help! (how cute!)
All in all the finale was a nail biter as it always promises to be!
