The BRSCC Mazda Final Round - The Lowdown

This weekend we bid farewell to the BRSCC Championship and Supercup races for this year.

The Championship saw a record number of cars in the last race where over seventy cars competed against each other. Though it looked to be a bright weekend Sunday saw fog descend upon the track on the final day.

MX-5 Supercup

This year's MX5 Supercup has seen some very turbulent races and no race weekend has had any predetermined out comes. MX5 City sponsored driver Jonathan Greensmith did not disappoint finishing third in two races.

This left Greensmith in 5th place in the final standings for the season after his excellent performance on Sunday. Well done to Jonathan Greensmith who has had quite a few odds stacked against him and also Luke Herbert who won the Supercup 2017.

MX-5 Championship

This weekend also saw MX5 City sponsored driver Martin Tolley winning the Masters Championship as well as a very creditable 4th place in the Championship for 2017. Well Done Martin!
