When replacing rusted rear sills on Mk2 and Mk2.5 models, it is nearly always necessary to also replace the inner sill. This is an important structural panel and usually suffers bad corrosion due to water being trapped between the inner & outer sill. This repair panel is a very precisely manufactured panel, made to the original specification from 1.5mm thick steel and will save you hours of work trying to fabricate one from sheet steel.
