Hi Martin, nice to meet you yesterday. The car went brilliantly down the A1, I’m used to driving MGBs etc that don’t like being revved but the little MX5 revs like the clappers but it doesn’t seem to be under any stress. I am new to the world of MX5s but have been interested for many years. Having made the decision to buy, ready for the summer, I purchased a good Mk2 S reg from a neighbour of mine. I was aware of the common problem with sill corrosion but had read of MX5 City and thought they would do a good job. I contacted Martin the owner and sent some pictures. He was quick to respond and suggested a start date and price. I wanted a proper job not a quick fix and this is what I got. Martin arranged to pick my car up from where I work, took it away and then returned it three days later in perfect condition. The quality is superb. Just like new. I also received a set of pictures which recorded the work done stage by stage. I am delighted with the finish, it's fantastic. I would recommend MX5 City to anyone in search of high quality workmanship and good old fashioned service.

“I have had 2 cars from MX5 City and both times it was good. They have mended one of my windows and replaced the other under warranty without quibble. They changed my tyres on my 1st purchase before I got them as they had mud and snows, even though I never knew what mud and snows are. They repaired paintwork that I didn't even know they were gonna do (small scratch and a chip on the bonnet) The car came back looking immaculate. When I turned up for the car they showed me round the car and showed me things that they thought deserved doing even though I didn't request it. Good Old-Fashioned Service! Bought my MX-5 from Martin just over a year ago. Saw it before it was prepped; Martin was down my way and therefore delivered the car for me just for the petrol money. Really enjoyed it over the summer; got many envious looks. Thought I'd wait to review though until my Mr Hard-to-Please MOT tester had checked it over after a summer's use. “I have just had major bodywork done to my Eunos Roadster S Ltd and I am very pleased with the results. I had the rear passenger wing and sill section cut out and replaced as shown in their web site. Also I gave Martin the owner free range to repair the dints ,scuffs etc that have been the result of over 17 years motoring. I also had some old headlight covers refurbished ,sprayed and fitted . The results were much better than I expected and the owner seemed genuinely pleased with the results as I was. The bill I received was broken down so I could see where the money had been spent , also photos were taken of the work in various stages of the process and given to me.
