Ever Wanted To Own a 2-Seater Sports Car? Then You’re Not Alone!

In a recent survey commissioned by Doncaster based MX5 City when asked, a massive 74% of people said that although they’d never owned one, they’d like to. This compared to 13% of respondents who either currently owned one or had done in the past but not anymore. More surprises were revealed looking at the results across the sexes and by age group.

A whopping 83% of women wanted to own a 2 seater compared to only 64% of men, maybe the film Thelma & Louise has something to do with it!

The highest result was women aged 18-24, 96% of which said they’d like to own one. If you combine the data across males and females, the youngest age group in the survey (18-24 year olds) showed by far the biggest desire to own one at a combined 87%. Maybe unsurprisingly, the biggest percentage of 2 seater sports car owners who answered the survey were men between the ages of 45 – 54.
