One disqaulification leads to two podiums for Jonathon!
Jonathon Greensmith took to the track at Oulton Park this past weekend (18th &19th of July 2015) with some exciting driving! We knew it would not take long for him to hit the podium and he did it this weekend with a 3rd place finish! The last race he had was at Cadwell Park where he came 3rd but didnt get to keep his place!
After all the excitement of getting onto the podium for the first time this season, Jonathan and the top 2 drivers were all disqualified after the race for overtaking the safety car too soon as it came into the pit lane on the last lap! Therefore the race was won by the 4th placed driver, which was Alan Henderson. Better luck next time!
Jonathon has now got on to the podium twice since the disqualification so maybe it was a good omen! Brilliant race and some great driving from the MX5 City sponsored driver!
